Live the journey, together.
A place for artists & animal-loving folks to explore and create more wonder in the world.
Our story lives on through this work.
There is no me without her. It’s as simple as that. We are eternally connected, my Soul Dog and me.
Kerouac and I had a long, beautiful run here on earth together, and somehow it felt like it wasn’t the beginning or the end. Just one moment in an eternity together.
Everything I do in my life has a piece of her in it because she gave me enough magic to last a million lifetimes. And now, I want to share that magic with you and your Soul Dog through SoulDog Journey Project.
Kerouac lives on through my SoulDog Journey Project. Making this art inspired by her helps me heal, but it also brings our journey to life in new ways. My hope is for you to have this kind of experience with your dog and your creativity - one of joy, wonder, and wildness.
I created SoulDog Journey Project for all of us who have a special connection with the dog(s) in our life. Whether they are still here with us or not, our Soul Dogs help us to live our journeys with our whole hearts. No matter where you are in your journey with your dog, SoulDog Journey Project will give you something beautiful to remember it by.

Artist | Photographer | Creative Wildling
I’m an artist, photographer, and creative wildling seeking wonder in the things that move us - dogs, nature, art, and each other.
I've been on a journey of healing since my Soul Dog, Kerouac, died in 2021. It's been a wild and emotional adventure in which I've had to say goodbye to a lot of things, a lot of dreams, and a lot of beliefs I thought I would need forever.
Over the past few years, I realized that the spaces I was creating for and sharing my work in (Facebook, Instagram, etc) were no longer bringing me joy. They were making me feel trapped and disconnected from myself.
So I stopped sharing my art there, and began imagining new ways to create the freedom and belonging I longed for. Not just for myself, but for anyone else seeking more wonder in life.
My intention as an artist isn’t to be seen - it’s to see.
And to help others see the beauty in being alive, celebrating our stories, and living the journey with the animals we love.
And creating art inspired by it all.
Thank you for being here on this journey with me.
Stay wild,
Marika
